Description
|
The Scimitar GTC Convertible is now a rare sight on the road. Only 442 were made by Reliant in the early 1980s and this example is number 192.
It has the Manual with Overdrive gearbox and has typical 1980s velour trim. The chassis is good and the car has an MOT until December 2012. The car drives well and exhibits a surprising amount of performance due to its light weight.
The car is very presentable and as the body is made of composite it obviously does not have any corrosion issues but there is room for improvement in the paintwork. The asking price of £2975 reflects this because with the paintwork re-finished and a new set of carpets fitted, the price would be in excess of £6000.
This is an rare opportunity to acquire a good honest GTC at a very low price with room for improvement that will substantially increase its value.

If you are unsure of anything relating to condition, please phone to clarify. Buyers are deemed to have inspected and approved any vehicle they buy. Please remember that these vehicles are not new and that they have been subject to wear and tear. As such, they are offered for sale on a trade sale basis with no warranty. |
Viewing
All vehicles are available for viewing by appointment during normal business hours (9am-4.30pm Monday to Friday). Saturday and Sunday viewing by arrangement. |
Payments
We can only accept bank tranfer, bankers draft or cash on collection as payment. If you intend to pay by bankers draft then we need to know the draft details and the issuing branch (with contact details) before collection of vehicle. No other forms of payment are accepted. |
Delivery
Vehicles will only be delivered after full payment has been received. |
